Robert Matakovic. "We Are One" by Robert Matakovic This shot was taken in Zagreb. In the zoo we have not so many animals, this lion just woke up and from the look on her face, was very sad. But then the little girl and her brother came, she put her hand on the glass and the lion did the same, which was amazing. I was lucky to be there to capture the moment. It reminds me that we are all from one planet and we should live together in harmony.

“Brother vs. Brother, Richwood, West Virginia, 1910s” by Finley Taylor Early Appalachian Photographer “America has no north, no south, no east, no west. The sun rises over the hills and sets over the mountains, the compass just points up and down, and we can laugh now at the absurd notion of there being a north and a south. We are one and undivided.” ~Pvt. Sam Watkins, 1st Tennessee, Co. H.
