Pet Sematary is by far one of King's most disturbing novels, forcing readers to think about the unthinkable- the death of a small child. Many readers were appalled with this book and even King himself claimed that this was one story he'd rather soon forget, but I admire his insight into this taboo topic and how he turned what could have been a typical "zombie" tale into a thought provoking piece of horror. Just one more novel that proves King is the master of horror!
"The Running Man" is a science fiction novel by Stephen King, first published under the pseudonym Richard Bachman in 1982 as a paperback original. It was collected in 1985 in the omnibus The Bachman Books. The novel is set in a dystopian United States during the year 2025, in which the nation's economy is in ruins and world violence is rising.
