This way, you don't have to do the "smell" check! I also like my pillows to smell fresh, so I add fabric softener to the washer and dry with a sheet. Also helps get rid of static in your hair on those dry winter months!

Every so often, place your pillows in the dryer with 2-3 tennis balls to return them to their original 'fluff state.' The high heat will also rid them of all germs.
