The separate but "equal" south from "the help" and one brave white woman's perspective. The dialogue alone makes this book worth reading.
The Help, by Kathryn Stockett (Heard it's a good book!)
The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Popular in general and a book club favorite. In Jackson, Mississippi, in 1962, there are lines that are not crossed.
