Take a trip to Nantucket Island! Nantucket is located south of the Cape and is easily accessible, just take a Plymoth and Brockton Bus to Hyannis and ferry to the island! Whether you go for the day or an overnight trip, there are many things you can do, or just relax on the beach!

Getting There: You can either fly into Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK), or reserve a seat on the one-hour-long passenger ferry from Hyannis, Mass., on Cape Cod. Reserve a room at Vanessa Noel Hotel, a stylish eight-room oasis situated right in the heart of downtown. "You can explore all day long and never be too far from the hotel," says Marie.

Nantucket! Absolutely my most favorite place in the world--cannot wait for next week...we're just going to enjoy quiet beaches, bike rides on the island and fabulous food. I've never shared this spot with anyone but my children...I'm so excited!!!

There's just something wonderful about a cobblestone street...My favorite keepsake from all my travels is the basalt cobblestone I stole in Rome. Someone had been using it for a doorstop and I carried that heavy-a** thing up six flights of stairs after wondering around Rome for hours and hours.

very pretty. lamp posts always make me think of "The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe".

Lots of memories of jumping off the rocks to find the coins that tourists would toss of the boat everyday as they rounded the lighthouse to dock!

Nantucket Beach ... one of the 1st places I can remember being on vacation with my family. "Sukiyaki" playing on the transistor radio that was sitting on the picnic table while I played w/ shells in the waves.

Nantucket one of my favorite places ever~ Ruth
