I've used a pure graphite 9B pencil -the blackest that you can get with a pencil- to do this drawing, which owes a lot to Vija Celmins, an American-Latvian artist whom I admire immensely. Well, I'm not happy with it because it looks half nebula and half northern lights, but this is the best I can do at this point in my career.
