Amy Daniels Little Falls, Minn., completed research on weather radars through her internship at the University of Virginia. Daniels worked with the center for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere (CASA) on one of its bigger projects.
The 22 students in the Food in the World Inquiry class started bonding in their freshman Orientation club. Their Hands for Change project was working at a food pantry. Now, they’ve become a cohesive group who is exploring firsthand how to become “responsibly engaged in the world.”
