I cooked my chicken in the crockpot first: mixed together one 1oz packet of ranch seasoning mix and one 1oz packet of taco seasoning with one can of chicken broth and cooked on low for 3 hours. Then I shredded the chicken and followed the recipe as written. Really, really good!!
WOULD Baked Taco Ring...Looks good -- makes a ton with two cresent rolls. Better for party, but if for family, one roll is enough. I sauteed green peppers and onion and mixed in with meat and also added shredded cheese on top of meat mixture. Think Velveeta might've been better, but it was yummy and has great presentation!
1 can creamed corn, 1 can sweet corn, 1 stick light margarine, 1 cup elbow macaroni, 1 cup velveeta. Don't drain any cans. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook in crockpot until noodles are done. AMAZING!!
Oven Baked Tacos! Brown your ground beef and drain completely - then add refried beans, taco seasoning and about half a can of tomato sauce. Chicken bacon ranch crockpot meal ~~ In crockpot, mix together 1 c. sour cream, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 hidden valley ranch dry seasoning packet, 2 tsp garlic, and 1/4 c. cooked bacon bits. Add 4 chicken breasts. Cook on high for 3-4 hours. Shred chicken. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
I LOVE my crockpot!! - take 1lb chicken (can be frozen), box of stuffing, 1 cup chicken broth, 1 can of cream of chicken, and 1/2 cup of water. layer bottom of crockpot with chicken, poor 1 cup of broth over chicken, mix box of stuffing with can of soup and 1/2 cup water and layer top of chicken with stuffing mix, cook 6-8 hours on low!
Southwest chicken!!!! We make This often... SO easy and SOOO yummy!! Chicken tenderloins-cut into small squares, 2 cups instant rice, 1 taco seasoning, 1 can rotel, grated cheese. Cook chicken in skillet. Add 1 1/2 cups water, taco seasoning and rotel. Heat to boiling. Add 2 cups instant rice. Stir, remove from heat and cover. Once water is absorbed, stir and top with cheese. Let cheese melt and voila!! Dinners served! Eat with tostitos, tortillas or by itself!
Crockpot Chicken Enchilada Soup... so stinkin good! Rinse your black beans really well or soup will not be right color. I made a red rice that we dolloped on top of soup, and scooped it all up with cheese quesadillas! Yum
