Painted 2X4 with hooks. So simple and functional! Behind the front door. Thinking of doing laundry with these hooks and maybe a small ledge with the kids photos going across it and then on the opposite wall having a welcome sign and one if those house number/skeleton key signs. Awesome idea!!

in narrow entryway - skip the shelf/bench portion and just use a ledge for art and hooks for necessities. Add in some sort of short-drop ORB fixture and a front door swap with a larger window --or maybe go nuts and increase the height of the door frame and add a transom!

wall of l's - use your initial and hang a grouping of them for a personalized gallery wall... By the stairway?

A wall of L's (or any monogram) :) This is an awesome idea for such a lil' space to pack a big punch! I have the same type of space that's in need of a do over.

cute idea. Great for "that wall" that you have no idea what to do with.

love this LOVE. Would be great in the upstairs hall or guest room. Lg letters at JoAnns. Finish w metallic paint and stain. - for the hallway?

The same color of paint in matte and glossy. This is such a good idea!

Take out the words. I'm super into 12" x 12" tiles right now, esp after hanging my friend's 12x12 mirrors yesterday for her...
