I think instead of making my own summer to do list I might just use this one. It really has some great options and a good variety.
The Summer Jar - 100 Things to Do ths Summer. Print the list on some bright paper and cut the paper into strips. (Plan on adding more to the list as the summer goes on. Then you'll have an updated list for next year!) Place all the paper in a jar and make a label. Now you will have something to do each time you hear the kids say “Mom, I’m bored.”
Some of my favorites from this lise: build a fort, nature walk, scavenger hunt, cook/bake, make and blow bubbles, tye die, homemade salt clay, make a milk carton boat, pet rocks, "travel" around the world (food, games, etc. from all over), make slime...
