I love this girl's idea! So sweet! I like the idea of getting a tattoo in someone's handwriting. "This is a tattoo I got very recently for my dad who passed away. He said “tell Morgan I love her” in the last letter he wrote to my sister so I had them tattoo his exact hand writing. I’m so in love with it. It’s so simple and yet has so much meaning behind it. It’s a reminder to myself everyday that I am loved."

The girls father was passing away in the hospital and the last thing he did was write a letter to her mother-- and at the end it read: Tell morgan I love her. She got it tattooed in his handwriting in memory. Such a sweet idea.

"I got these a couple months ago for my parents who passed away when I was in high school. Its exact copies of their handwriting from birthday cards. I absolutely love them."

This is beautiful - "Before she passed away at the age of 101, my great grandmother had wrote me one last letter. She had signed it with the “xoxoxoxoxoxo” in which I decided to have that in her exact handwriting tattooed closest to my heart." Wow. Great story.

Its NOT my tattoo. "I’m a recovering heroin addict coming up on a year clean, and this my Dad & Mom’s handwriting that I got from letters to me in rehab. My dad is on my left foot for always inspiring me & my mom is on my right for always teaching me to do the next right thing. These are my favorite out of my six, and I love them. Done By Jon at Pinz & Needlez Tattoo in Edgewood, MD."

This one by far means the most to mean out of all 5 of my tattoos… Its in my grandma’s handwriting from a letter she wrote me before she passed away while going through cancer treatments. And I got a rose beside it cause the last thing I said and did for her was say I love you and placed a rose in her casket. She’s forever my guardian angel, hero, bestfriend, and my grandma and not a day goes by that I dont think about her. I love you 6-18-06 :’)…. Done at Body Partz in Cookeville Tennessee b...

I am doing this for my next tattoo. Still have not found the card yet :(

(a girl got her parents' handwriting from her birthday cards and made them her tattoos after they passed away)

Getting the handwriting of a loved one that has passed as a tattoo is such a good idea.
