This works great, I used the citric acid in my mix because i dont use any artificial ingredients. I found it at Wally Mart by the canning supplies for $2.95. I did add some Organic white vinegar to the rinse dispenser to help with some of the spots. Dishwasher Detergent Ingredients: 1 cup borax 1 cup washing soda White vinegar Directions: Mix together the borax and washing soda and store in a plastic container with a lid. I used an old dishwasher capsules container: 2 T. per load and white vinegar for rinsing agent.

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent! 1 Cup of Borax, 1 Cup Baking Soda, 1/2 Cup Kosher Salt, 1/2 Cup Citric Acid (You can purchase "Fresh Fruit" in the canning isle. It is a produce protector or you can puchase 15 packets of lemon Kool-aid, the unsweetened kind, and that works as well.) Mix all ingredients! Use 1 Tbsp per load!
