You can have lots of fun with children’s parties.   Candy bars are a great thing to use and you can have alot of fun with decorations.  You can also have alot of fun with the cake.  Look at how colorful this party is!

One at a time, each guest at the party stood about 5 feet in front of the board and threw a dart at the balloons, trying to pop one. The balloon would pop, and the candy would explode, and the child got to run and grab all the candy from their balloon. The kids loved it, and even the littlest guys who were 4 and 5 years old could pop a balloon pretty easily.

since I don't have kids, this isn't an immediate use for me... but it's TOO CUTE! So I may just have to make a faux-pinata and hang it as party decor.

its not a pin its a pinata!! @Christina Burks

What a delightfully fun vintage birthday invite - there's no way you'd not RSVP to a party that had an invitation like that.

punch out party board for treats (behind tissue paper inside plastic cups) - such a different idea

A POT OF A PARTY I'm super excited about today's party inspiration, its right up my alley and something I would have loved as a child. Its an art paint party. You can keep the kids entertain with canvas and paint, they will love it and have something to take home for mum and dad. Plus its a chance for you to try these colored chocolate dip rice puffs, so cute.

Neat alternative to pinatas. A punch box for party favors
