I think I have found one of my new favorite authors. Sarah Addison Allen managed to combine magic and a seemingly simple plot into a wonderful tale that hinges on several characters. I'm going to try another one of her books...

I fell in love with this book ... did not see the movie. This book is about more than just the life and death of a young girl - it's about her strength, love, and her families commitment to finding the truth. I couldn't help but cry and I couldn't put it down.
