Baked spaghetti with cream cheese Scooter’s Spaghetti 5.0 from 11 reviews Print Recipe type: Entree Author: Scooter Prep time: 20 mins Cook time: 35 mins Total time: 55 mins Serves: 10 Layered spaghetti casserole topped with french fried onions. A family favorite! Ingredients 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti 1 pound ground beef 1 large can spaghetti sauce (26.5 ounces) 1 tablespoon butter 1/2 cup chopped green peppers (I usually omit or substitute red peppers) 1/3 cup chopped onions 8 ounces cream cheese 2 tablespoons milk Fresh grated Parmesan cheese French Fried Onions (small can) Directions Cook spaghetti according to directions on the package. Cook to al dente, drain and set aside. Brown ground beef. Drain excess grease. Add spaghetti sauce to skillet and heat. Combine onions, peppers and butter in small glass bowl. Cover and microwave 4 minutes on HIGH until soft. Add cream cheese and milk to vegetables and stir well. (If cream cheese is not soft, nuke it for 20-30 seconds to make it easy to spread.) Using a 10 x 6 dish, assemble in the following order: Thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish. Spaghetti Cream cheese/vegetable mixture Spaghetti sauce Parmesan Cheese (amount subject to your own taste) French Fried Onions (added during last 5 minutes of cooking) Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Top with French Fried onion and continue baking 5 more minutes. (This is the secret ingredient–don’t let them burn.) Notes Make this ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze without the French Fried onions. Don’t forget to add them 5 minutes before casserole is finished cooking.

How to get soft feet. I tried this last night. (9/21/14) It worked pretty well, but I don't know that it worked better than other foot soaks. Also, the Listerine smell nearly killed my husband and was even pretty unbearable to me. It's a lot stronger smell when you add warm water to it. Never again.

When you're expecting company, opt for this foolproof dish. You won't have to worry about overcooking the meat or hovering over the stove so you can spend more time with your friends and family. Added to Recipes on Fri 12/09/2011 Ingredients Makes 6 servings 2 bulbs garlic EVOO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling Salt and pepper 1/4 to 1/3 pound bacon (not too smoky in flavor), cut into lardons (fat matchsticks) 1 stick butter, divided 2 1/2 to 3 pounds beef chuck, cut into 2-inch cubes Flour, for dredging plus 2 tablespoons 3 carrots, sliced in 2-inch chunks on an angle 2 apples, such as Honeycrisp, peeled and chopped 2 to 3 ribs celery, chopped 1 large onion, chopped 2 fresh bay leaves 2 to 2 1/2 cups cloudy organic apple cider 2 cans beef consommé Herb bouquet, a few sprigs each of thyme, parsley and sage tied together with kitchen string 2 1/2 pounds (about 5 potatoes) russet potatoes, peeled and cubed 2 to 3 large parsnips, peeled and cubed 1 1/2 cups sharp white cheddar, shredded 1 cup whole milk Freshly grated nutmeg 1/4 cup chives, finely chopped Directions Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut ends of garlic bulbs to expose cloves. Drizzle with EVOO, season with salt and pepper, wrap in foil and roast to tender, 40-45 minutes. Remove garlic and reduce heat to 350°F. Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of EVOO and bacon. Brown and crisp bacon then remove and reserve. Pour off some of the fat out of the pan and add a couple of tablespoons butter. Pat meat dry and season liberally with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour and add to hot pot in batches. Cook to crispy and deep brown. Add more butter as needed, 2 tablespoons at a time. Reserve browned meat with the bacon. Add carrot, apple, celery, onion, bay, salt and pepper to the pot and partially cover. Cook to soften vegetables for a few minutes then sprinkle with 2 tablespoons flour. Stir a minute then add cider, consommé, the roasted garlic cloves and stir to combine. Add reserved beef, bacon and herb bouquet to pan, bring to a boil then cover and transfer to oven. Braise meat for 2 hours, until very tender and the sauce has thickened. Let stand 20 minutes while you cook potatoes. Boil potatoes and parsnips in salted water until tender. Drain and return to hot pot; mash with 2 tablespoons butter, cheese and milk. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg; stir in chives. Serve stew in shallow bowls with potatoes alongside.

Crispy Zucchini Parmesan Fries that are baked! Crispy Parmesan Zucchini Fries Slice zucchini into thin slices. Season some flour with paprika and garlic powder. Roll slices in flour mixture, dip them in egg and then drop them onto a plate with panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and a little more paprika and garlic powder. Put them in the oven at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, flip them over and then put them in for 10 minutes more. I served them with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.

pink lemonade cake (Not really appropriate for the season, but someday...) Pink Lemonade Pound Cake 1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix 1 (3 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix 4 eggs 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup pink lemonade concentrate 4 drops pink or red food color, optional Glaze: 1 cup frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed 1/2 cup white sugar Recipe 1) Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour one 10-inch tube pan or bundt pan. 2) Combine the cake mix, lemon pudding mix, eggs, vegetable oil, 1/2 cup lemon concentrate and the milk. Mix until smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. 3) Bake at 350 for 50 minutes to 1 hour. If your oven runs hot be sure to adjust accordingly! Remove from oven and prick cake all over with a fork. Immediately pour lemonade glaze over top of cake. Let cake stand in pan until almost cool. LEMONADE GLAZE: Combine the remaining thawed frozen lemonade and the white sugar. Mix thoroughly and pour over still warm cake.
