    GINGER-CINNAMON APPLE CIDER FAKETINI: 1. Ginger-Cinnamon Syrup: 1 c sugar, 1 c water, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1"-2" ginger root (peeled, thinly sliced). Mix all ingredients in small saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool completely; strain to remove ginger & cinnamon. 2. Faketini: 2 Tbs G-C Syrup, 1 c apple cider, ice, cinnamon sugar, apple slice or cinnamon stick (garnish) Wet rim of glass with cider; dip in sugar. Add ice to shaker. Add cider and syrup. Shake, pour, garnish.

Hungry girl's red hot apple pie. Not really apple pie but it's ok. A good, quick snack to kill the sweet tooth. I didn't use the graham crackers but I probably should have. It took 3 minutes to melt my red hots instead of 1-2 then the apple was too hot to eat for a few minutes. I'll try it again with Chloe and see what she thinks.
