Peas, Ham, and Creamy Noodles - Mom did this but we used cream of mushroom instead of half and half and used broccoli instead of peas (you have to use what you have on hand, right?). I also added some cheddar on top. A great recipe for leftover ham!
English Toffee Recipe ~ By the time I'm putting this plate of treats together, half of the candy is missing - it just tastes too good! I love toffee and this is like a delicious Skor candy bar. Ingredients needed: 1 c butter, 1 c sugar, 3 T water, 1/8 tsp salt (omit if you use salted butter), 1 1/2 T light corn syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, 3/4 c chocolate chips, chopped nuts.
A pound of butter, a pound of bittersweet chocolate, and lots of finely chopped pecans make this toffee rich and delectable. This toffee can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for three to four weeks.
