To clean a Dry Erase Board use 99% or 90% Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol). The more common 70% does not work anywhere as well. It is well worth hunting for the stronger stuff. But the 70% will work if it's all you have.

Cleans dry erase boards! I had iso-alcohol and that works too. I used a paper towel and it was perfectly clean and white again.
