    Kid craft Apple Trees •cereal box•paper towel rolls•red tissue paper•pencil ~Draw tree tops on flattened cereal box & cut out (Older children could cut their own). Painted tree tops green. ~Next, cut 2"slits at the tops & bottoms of paper towel roll on both sides. Now paint "trunks" brown & let dry ~Cut small squares of tissue paper, bunch up into little "balls" & glue on the "apples". ~Cut a 4"x2" rectangle out of the box scraps to use at the base of the trunk for stability. ~Now Assemble.

Cute for our apple unit...this would be a great 'whole, part, gone' activity. I have the cards, but this might be better for wee ones. You could also make a bunch of whole apples out of paper plates and paint them the various colors of different apples. Love.

Apple Tree Craft - made from toilet paper roll... i cut out little red circles instead and incorporated it into an A is for Apple theme including learning about apples, eating apples, and decorating apple shaped sugar cookies.

To make these fun little apple trees, gather up some red, yellow, green paint, and some brown construction paper. I used a tissue roll but you can also use a paper cup to make the circles.
