WHO KNEW!! you print out words on basic white paper, but in mirror image form… lay them on the wood… with a damp paint brush wet the paper on top of the words… use the cap of a sharpie to rub on top of the letters to help them transfer … then remove the paper and stand in shock and awe!
Love the concept of using one of those collage-type picture frames as an erasable weekly calendar, menu board, chore chart, etc, etc. (Although, I hate the busy backgrounds this example uses--would be cute with demure, coordinating fabric or scrapbook paper.)
Buy a rough surfaced tile from Lowe's (less than a dollar) and mod podge pretty scrapbook paper on it. Then mod podge picture over that. Let dry and wrap with a pretty bow. Easy and cheap! You can also include a small stand to set the tile on. - Cute!
DIY: punch a hole in the shape of a heart into an old dictionary, choosing certain words to describe the person you want to give it to, and arrange them into a frame for a decoration. Such a precious idea.
