The Outsider (Penguin Modern Classics): Albert Camus, Joseph Laredo: Books

FINALLY a good book. Was on a bit of a bad streak there. I love Albert Camus wholeheartedly, so me loving this book is no big surprise. Beautiful writer, thoughtful book. Meursault (protagonist) is seemingly (and eerily) indifferent to everything around him -- death, marriage, crime etc. One of the most interesting characters I have read about in awhile. Camus is excellent in conveying important themes and emotions subtly without having to say them outright. That's what makes a talented writer.
