    This is Oneonta Gorge...you have to hike in the water to get to the end to see the waterfall...worth it!

    This is a FUN hike. It needs to happen in the summer, though, because the water is COLD and you have to get into water that is roughly chest high to get to the waterfall at the end. A great hike. Not for children younger than about 10, as there is a log jam to carefully scale at the beginning and the deep water to swim.

Northwest Portland Hostel- we only stayed here one night and then moved to the hawthorne hostel for the next few nights, which ended up being way better!
