Homemade Fabric Softener Crystals Recipe { 2 Simple Ingredients!}

DIY "Purex Crystals": Now I just use the Epsom Salt (as a fabric softener), and Downy Un-Stopables. Oh, man!

Mix baking soda with TBS of fabric softener and spread on mattress every one or two months. Leave on an hour and vacuum off. Kills dust mites and freshens the mattress. It does work:) and it smells so good

Unblock your drains without pouring harmful pollutants into the water system by pouring down 1 c of salt and 1/2 c of baking soda mixed together, followed by a kettle of boiling water. Can also use baking soda and white vinegar and boiling water.

To keep dust from settling on furniture, baseboards, lampshades, picture frames, etc I mix about a tablespoon of fabric softener with 2 quarts of water and dissolve it completely. Then I use a terry cloth rag and wring it out really well so it's damp. Then I wipe down anything with a hard surface including leather and wooden furniture. There's no film and the fabric softener repels dust. It's great for blinds and less costly than dryer sheets.

Homemade Fabric Softener!

Homemade Fabric Softener! These work. I make 1/3 of the recipe, place small clothes in a mason jar and pour over. As I use a cloth, I can place it back in the jar and shake. I stop adding clothes when the liquid is adsorbed. Then I was all the clothes and start over.
