I find the fact that he can sew and his serious face and white socks to be very attractive. Who said men can't be creative and still look just as manly and handsome doing it.

Actor Charles Durning was in the first wave on D-Day with the 1st Div. He was the only member of his unit to survive. He took out several German machine guns and was wounded. Later, he was bayoneted 8 times in hand-to-hand combat. At The Bulge he survived The Malmedy Massacre. He refused to discuss his service for which he was awarded the Silver Star and three Purple Hearts. "Too many bad memories," he told an interviewer. "I don't want you to see me crying." A true American hero. RIP.
