Bush's Baked Beans copycat recipe by Canning Homemade; Will have to try this because we love Bush's but the sodium in it is outrageous.I wanted to give you a chance to see and make the recipe that not only Renee is crazy about the flavor, but to let you decide how close to Bush's it really is. I would love to tell that dog Jay he can keep his secret and spread this recipe all over the world! LOL
Fresh Salsa. Made with 4lbs of tomatoes from my garden plus a 28 oz strained can of petite diced tomatoes, 2 jalapenos (1 whole, 1 seeded) didn't use the Anaheim pepper but I did add all the spices listed plus an 1/8 tsp of cumin. I processed all of the ingredients to smooth consistency except the tomatoes, then threw them in and pulsed so it would be somewhat chunky...DELICIOUS!
Zesty Salsa for Canning Since I have a nice crop of 'maters, bell peppers, cilantro, and hot peppers, I'm going to make this and can some for winter. But I don't like that much vinegar, so I'm cutting that back and add some lime juice to it.
