What a great alternative to the usual Advent Calendar.. the CHRISTMAS BUCKET! Kids unwrap a present every day in December with family activities...write letters to Santa, make homemade ornaments, sort through toys to give to a shelter, go look at Christmas lights, hot chocolate and toast before bed, Christmas movie and so on! This is fabulous and you can prepare it ahead of time. LOVE IT!

Christmas calendar on a cookie sheet! (Buying the cookie sheet: You just need an inexpensive cookie sheet. The dollar store has a great selection. You DON'T want a Teflon one because the magnets wont stick.)

Christmas wish lists for the kids..let them cut pictures out then hang them up. Parent gift, maybe? Any color they want for all year- bday, Christmas, etc. could also make for ss u it on economics for wants and budget lesson

Would love to do this around the fireplace if I had a real one!

Start a simple yet meaningful tradition this year. 25 days of service - a great way to remember the true meaning of Christmas

My class makes these every year!! I love watching them because its so tempting for them to eat the marshmallow when they are supposed to lick it to make it stick ;)

1x2's cut to different lengths? Home Depot has 1x2x8's for .90 and 1x3's for 1.50. Each sign seems to need 24 inches and a total of 6x12 papers. Add the vinyl and stain, mod podge, ribbon, bell and white paper. So...how much?
