      The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins...I am halfway through this, but I already know this book is well written and is a book worth reading. I wanted to read it before seeing the movie, which I thought I would never want to see. I was wrong about that!

    I wish they had gotten someone cuter to play Peeta....sigh. Lawrence, Hutcherson, and Hemsworth pose in the North Carolina woods. Growing up, Katniss and Gale would often risk their lives by crawling beneath the electric fence encircling District 12 to hunt in the forest. She would use the skills learned on these excursions to keep both Peeta and herself alive in the deadly arena.

    "What I need to survive is not Gale's fire. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life goes on no matter how bad the losses. Only Peeta can give me that. So when he whispers, 'You love me. Real or not real?' I tell him, 'Real'." Yep, definitely cried at that part!
