Sneak Peek: Alison and Jeff Allen. "We started decorating Gus’ nursery before we knew if Gus was going to be a boy or girl. With that in mind, we decided to go with a gender-neutral yellow and gray color palette. The quilt, curtains and the pillow are all handmade by me, and I’m glad they make their home in Gus’ room. We love our Oeuf Sparrow crib; it was an expensive investment when we purchased it four-plus years ago but an investment I’m glad we made." #sneakpeek

Ruby's Gem of a Room — Kids Room Tour

Love the bookshelf and the look & feel of this nursery. Girlie, but not painfully so...

I already have a nursery I love, but there are so many perfect details in this room...polka dot garland, numbered toy boxes, closet interior, chevrons and stripes everywhere... I also love that she concluded her belly pictures with one of her holding the brand new baby.

Ideas & Inspiration: Grey and yellow colour combo for kids rooms. Want to go this route if the kid's end up having to share a room.

Kids' bedrooms: Three bold and colourful designs

A soft grey rocker with bright yellow stripes make this nursery anything but babyish.

This yellow, grey and white nursery is both modern and inviting. Don't you just love the soft wall colour? As an added bonus, it's gender neutral, so this is a great palette to use if you want to be surprised by your baby's gender when it's born!

Fresh Kids Color Combo: Yellow & Grey

I just adore these yellow and grey nurseries! I think this look has just about run it's course though... It'll be old news by the time we're ready for another baby. :(
