Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Reginald Taylor, director of predoctoral orthodontics, recently completed the Chairs and Academic Administrators Management Program. Taylor was among 55 attendees from across the U.S. and abroad who attended this interprofessional program, which is geared toward department chairs and academic administrators.

Myiesha Taylor, M.D. is the founder and president of Artemis Medical Society, which received international recognition for its work on the “We Are Doc McStuffins” campaign with Disney. Driven to mentor and support women physicians globally, Dr. Taylor helped the organization grow from 12 to 3,400 members in seven different countries by embracing social media and establishing an innovative way to implement national programming.

As the medical staple in the Black community Dr. Brooks was the go-to practitioner for many basic medical services in the African-American neighborhoods. During the 60s Dr. Brooks was active in the struggle for civil rights in Ft. Worth. On the same day Martin Luther King Jr. led the march on Washington, Dr. Brooks was leading a march to governor’s mansion Austin with his five children in tow.
