Green Bean casserole.... One bite and you will never go back to the "old way" of making green bean casserole ever again. No "cream of something" soup in this baby....

French Onion Soup Casserole - Slice thinly three large sweet onions. Sautee in 2 T olive oil until lightly browned. Layer in sprayed 2 qt casserole pan with 1 c shredded Swiss cheese.  In bowl whisk to blend 1 can cream of chicken soup, 2/3 c milk, 1 tsp soy sauce, fresh ground pepper.  Pour over onions. Top with 8 slices buttered French bread. Bake 350 for 15 min uncovered to toast bread. Remove and push bread slices under soup. Top with 1 c shredded Swiss and bake another 15 min.
