DIY Dresser to TV Console My result: Great way to repurpose some otherwise-useless furniture. Our's cost a total of about $70, most of which went toward spray paint. We needed 6 cans, but only because we were covering that cheap pressboard covered with paper stuff... This would be cool for some furniture found at a thrift shop or something

TVs came in cabinets, and often included a record player and radio, too. Note the Rabbit Ears antenna - we kids spent hours moving them up, down and sideways at our parents' direction, trying to bring in a perfect picture, and get rid of the static in the sound! (No such thing as a remote then - you had to get up and adjust things yourselves - that's why having a kid was useful : )

By jove, that's what I need! I need to repurpose a dresser, my monitors are already mounted - so then make one top drawer into a keyboard tray, and then either bottom drawer or side cupboard for printer & tower - and the scanner would totally work in another drawer with the power strip & whatnot. ~Ariel
