These types of graphics are rarely done these day because too many of them were done by graphic departments like mine that made war seem clinical and bloodless. There is also less print space and fewer graphic departments. This graphic was done by my team of visual journalist at The Arizona Republic on the third day of Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was characterized as "a war like no other" because of the flexibility, surprise, and overwhelming force employed by the US-led coalition forces.’
