Chicken Piccata - original recipe from epicurious march 1998 recipe. Let the floured chicken stand so flour doesn't fall off when frying. No egg! After chicken, sauté shallots and garlic, add wine, broth and juice, boil, then flour butter mixture until thickened. Add capers and more butter and parsley. Delish!
Chicken Piccata - Ina Garten - it's VERY lemony! Be warned. Next time I probably won't add the reserved lemon halves and cut down the lemon juice, and put in more butter. With a few changes, could be a very delicious chicken dish (Dec 22).
Chicken Piccata: 2 chicken breasts, (butterflied and pounded thin), salt & pepper to taste, 1 tbs olive oil, 1 tbs butter, 1 clove garlic chopped, 1/4 c dry white wine, 1/2 c chicken broth, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of honey, 2 tbs capers, 1 tbs butter, 1 tbs chopped parsley
