'Super Planet Crash' Game Lets You Build & Destroy) Alien Solar Systems. For those who love Earth-shattering kabooms, a team of astronomers has made just the game for you. "Super Planet Crash" challenges the public to create a planetary system with various kinds of alien planets, ranging from Earth-size planets to gas giants to more massive dwarf stars. If an object crashes into another one before 500 game-years elapse, you lose.

It is science fiction made fact: Astronomers have discovered two alien planets around the same star whose orbits come so close together that each rises in the night sky of its sister world like an exotic full moon. The newfound planets are 1,200 light-years from Earth, researchers said. They differ greatly in size and composition, but come within just 1.2 million miles (1.9 million kilometers) of each other, closer than any other pair of planets known, according to a new study.

The Novikov self-consistency principleis a principle to solve the problem of paradoxes in time travel. The principle asserts that if an event exists that would give rise to a paradox, or to any "change" to the past whatsoever, then the probability of that event is zero. It would thus be impossible to create time paradoxes.
