    eternity scarf (to knit forever)...look for a yarn that knits at about 3.5st/in on Us 10-10.5s. Then, to wear it wrapped around my back like in one of the photos, I would measure how big of circumference that would be. Say it turns out to be 80 inches. Then I could cast on 3.5X80 or 280 stitches on long circular needles and join in the round and knit until it was a decent width. Looks like about 15 inches. Then cast off very loosely, wash and block. (thank you primenumbergirl/ ravelry!)
