Brown Bag Book Club. Pick a book that you have read in class. Mid-week have students complete a graphic organizer such as a 4 square (character, setting, plot, author's purpose) and have them glue it to a paper bag. On Fridays, fill the bags with popcorn and group students for their brown bag discussions. Ask the groups various discussion questions and have students respond for 3-5 minutes in their groups while munching on their popcorn. #

Character Traits

The Land of Nod's exclusive Extracurricular Activity Table is designed to grow as your child grows. The 15" height is perfect for toddlers to stand at or use as a train table. Then switch out to the 23" legs, add play chairs, and you have the perfect size for school age kids to use as an art table or for games. Then, at around age 7, swap the legs again, and you have a full-size desk that accommodates an adult-sized chair.
