Sarah's Key #sarahskey A great WWII book from the point of view of a jewish child living in France, and a present day journalist researching WWII.

Sarah's Key. My most favorite book. Everyone should read it. Very exciting, educational, suspenseful, and unpredictable
Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay - This is one of my favorite books so far. It was incredibly sad to read but really good too. It's one of those books that sticks with you.
My favorite book of all time: Sarah's Key. About a girl's unforgettable journey during the Holocaust
Such an amazing book. Sarahs Key - She closed the door on the little white face, turned the key in the lock. Then she slipped the key into her pocket. The lock was hidden by a pivoting device shaped like a light switch. It was impossible to see the outline of the cupboard in the paneling of the wall. Yes, he’d be safe there. She was sure of it. The girl murmured his name and laid her palm flat on the wooden panel. “I’ll come back for you later. I promise.” -From Sarah’s Key, page 9-
Sarah's Key: A Novel Book club August 2012 Read it if you haven't yet!

A Stolen life.
Book Club, Life Jaycee, Books I Ve, Favorite Books, 18 Year, Good Books
A Stolen Life- Jaycee Dugard's story of being abducted at the age of 11 and not being discovered for 18 years.
A Stolen Life - Jaycee Dugard's story about being abducted at the age of 11 and held captive for over 18 years. Very touching and inspirational.
A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard. I found this to be a hard read, the book is about real life Jaycee Dugard who was held captive by a man and his wife for 18 years before breaking out of her horrible prison.
In Jaycee Dugard's A Stolen Life: A Memoir, she tells the story of the 18 years she was kept captive and abused and how she's overcome the horrific experience.
A Stolen Life - Jaycee Dugard. Similar to the book 'Room', except that this is a real story. The writing is very simplistic, I think perhaps Jaycee just wanted to get it all out there. A little bit of writing therapy. I found it at times very difficult to sympathise with her, there were many opportunities where she could have sought help long before she did. Of course, I've never been in her shoes.
a stolen life - the jaycee dugard story. One of my favorite books!
A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard - such an amazing story of survival
Jaycee Dugard ~ a stolen life. Good Book.
probably one of my favorite books
Dogs Perspective, Reading List, Dogs Read, Favorite Book
My number one favorite book of all time. I have lent this book out at least 5-6 times and each time it comes back a little bit more loved and "dog eared". If you have a heart and a love of mans best friend this is truely the orginal perspective of "us" through his/her big brown eyes. You will cry and laugh. Best read with your furry friend at your side on a Sunday morning. You will not be able to put it down. ***** Five Stars (in my opinion). RIP Winnie Girl.
Can't say enough about this book. Especially if you are an animal lover..
The Art of Racing in the Rain - great story from the dogs perspective!
probably one of my favorite books....though it made me cry
A window into a Dog's perspective.
A must read for animal lovers

Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese This is an great saga spanning the lives of twin brothers and their quasi-family. This is one of my favorite books because Verghese skillfully ties details together throughout different parts of the book. It enthralled me for days. Whenever I put it down, I was scheming how to get back to it.
Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. This is the next choice in our book club - chosen by Susanna.
Cutting for Stone-Amazing book! If you have even been to Ethiopia, you will love the story, history and characters. If you have not been to Ethiopia, you will still love the story and the story teller. brilliantly written... one of the most captivating books I've read in a long time.
Cutting for Stone - Everyone in book club loved this book- long, but it just kept getting better!
Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese -- Marion and Shiva Stone are twin brothers born of a secret union between a beautiful Indian nun and a brash British surgeon. Orphaned by their mother’s death and their father’s disappearance, bound together by a preternatural connection and a shared fascination with medicine, the twins come of age as Ethiopia hovers on the brink of revolution. Yet it will be love, not politics, that will tear them apart. #books #reading

This is one of my all time favorite books. It's about the building of a cathedral in 12th century England and the people that are involved in the process. Really great historical fiction!
This is one of my all-time favorite books. I have not read/seen many novels that use the Middle Ages as a simple and straightforward backdrop to a beautiful story. The history of the time is painted expertly around the characters and emphasizes them without producing the stereotypical images of the time. Love it.
One of my all time favorite books!!! I also loved Eye of the Needle by the same author.
My all time favorite book! Also recommend the sequel, World Without End.

Though completely devastated, Jennifer still considered herself blessed.
