    Roller Shade: strip a a cheap roller shade of it's vinyl, replace with material of your choice. I've done this on 7 windows in my house and LOVE it. Great for kids - no cords.

    Buy a cheap clock, hot glue fabric rosettes around it... Don't love the flowers, but it's a great tip to use whatever one likes!

This woman used a plain rug from Lowe's (only $ 24.98!), a stencil and white acrylic paint from Hobby Lobby (on sale!), and a foam roller. There are so many different color/design combinations you can use to inexpensively create a unique rug for your room.
