God's Supernatural Favor "There is a distinction between natural favor and supernatural favor. Natural favor must be earned, but supernatural favor is a gracious gift from God. First Samuel 2:7 says, "The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and He lifts up." A perfect example of this is found in the life of Esther. God raised her up out of obscurity to become the queen of the entire land. He gave her favor with everyone she met, including the king. Esther drew upon that favor to save herself and her people from being murdered by the evil Haman. She may have been afraid to go to the king and ask him to intervene, but Esther knew she had favor with God and pressed on with complete confidence in Him. Like Esther, we should live with the freedom and liberty that comes from living in God's favor. Regardless of the circumstances that come into your life, believe God for supernatural favor. Despite how hopeless things may seem, God can lift you up. If your life is in His hands, the light of the Lord shines upon you." Joyce Meyer Prayer Starter: God, I don't rely on natural favor. Instead, I want to live in Your supernatural favor. With my life in Your hands, I know You can lift me up. #prayer #salvation #God #Almighty #hope #love #Jesus #Christianity #bible #theword #worship #praise #honor #joy #devotion #dailydevotion #spiritual #guidance

. I had reached into my excuse bag many times over the years and come up with all kinds of 'reasons' I could not exercise. But the Lord spoke to me and encouraged me to begin a serious workout program so I could be strong for the last third of my journey through life. I already had good eating habits, and when I obeyed the Lord and started going to the gym several times a week, I stepped into a new season of life. I looked better, I felt better, and most importantly, I was honoring God .

"Lord, grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love." ~ Francis of Assisi

Ephesians 4:23 Prayer Starter: Lord, I renew my mind in You. I know that You have a new beginning and a calling for me just like you did for Moses and Paul. I receive it today, believing that You can bring it to pass.

Read Daniel 6:3 "Daniel is a man in the Bible who is described as having an 'excellent spirit.' He lived to glorify God with his life, no matter what it cost him. Daniel loved God and was unwavering in his commitment to serve Him. As a result, God gave him favor with the king, which led to his promotion over the other leaders in the land. But his commitment to God was tested. The leaders didn't like that the king favored Daniel. So they manipulated the king to sign a decree that prohibited anyone from praying to any god other than the king for 30 days. Violating the decree meant being thrown into a den of lions. Daniel didn't cave in to this decree, he was more concerned about keeping his commitment to God. If you know the story, you know God protected him and was glorified in the end. I want to encourage you to live with that same excellent spirit. Be determined to really live for God. As you do, you'll fulfill your true purpose and glorify God in everything you do, just like Daniel." Joyce Meyer Prayer Starter: Lord, I commit myself to a life of excellence, just like Daniel. Instill an 'excellent spirit' in me, so that I may serve You unwaveringly in all that I do. #prayer #salvation #God #Almighty #hope #love #Jesus #Christianity #bible #theword #worship #praise #honor #joy #devotion #dailydevotion #spiritual #guidance

"God's chosen me to speak to crowds. People listen to me because God has anointed me to speak for Him, it's part of His destiny for my life. And God will anoint whomever He chooses to work through. That includes you. Who does God use? The Bible says that He picks the unlikely. He uses common, ordinary people like you and me. When I started to preach the Gospel, some of my friends rejected me, they didn't think I should do that because I'm a woman. In fact, they told me I couldn't do that. But I was doing it because God told me to do it, and I trusted that if He told me I could do it, then I could do it. The same thing is true for you. If you are willing to have an uncommon goal, God can do something great through you! Every common person can be used mightily by God. You just have to believe He can use you and be daring enough to embrace the goals or vision He puts in your heart. You have been chosen!" Joyce Meyer Prayer Starter: God, because You have chosen me, I won't doubt the destiny You have for me. Thank You for giving me a purpose in You. #prayer #salvation #God #Almighty #hope #love #Jesus #Christianity #bible #theword #worship #praise #honor #joy #devotion #dailydevotion #spiritual #guidance

When you suffer .... do this Look for Christ, the less you fear men Look for the Blessing Look to suffer wisely Look "The Bible encourages us to always be thankful.

Do you ever think that maybe God has a limit to where He can only take so much? And when you defy Him so much He'll stop forgiving you? I've sinned so much. Drugs, alcohol, sex, misuse of His name, 4 suicide attempts that lead me to be hospitalized, so many more that no one knows about... I just don't know how He can forgive me after all I've done.. Am I damned to the pita of hell? What happens? I've died. I've seen nothing. Not God or Jesus. Not even a light. Just black nothingness. Idk anymore

"God is excellent. As His representatives, we should be too. So it's important that we do our best in everything that we put our hands to. We must be motivated to do our very best in whatever we set out to accomplish. Paul urges us to "learn to...prize what is excellent and of real value." As we make excellence a way of life, we will sense God's joy and be good examples to the world. You must sow excellence in order to reap an excellent harvest. We can't expect excellent results in life when we don't live a life of excellence. The Bible teaches us to develop diligence, steadfastness and determination, all of which will help us live lives of excellence. So I encourage you to do your best with any project or activity that God places in your path. Be diligent. Don't leave things undone, but finish what you start to the best of your ability. Set your mind to be steadfast and determined. Commit yourself to excellent results. God honors an attitude of excellence. Choose to do your best, and He will always work alongside you." Joyce Meyer Prayer Starter: God, I want to live a life of excellence. Strengthen me and help me to do my best in every situation with steadfastness, diligence and determination. #prayer #salvation #God #Almighty #hope #love #Jesus #Christianity #bible #theword #worship #praise #honor #joy #devotion #dailydevotion #spiritual #guidance

"The Holy Spirit always wants to lead us through life, but sometimes we get so focused on seemingly "big" issues that we don't realize how much He speaks in small promptings every day. I was on my way home one day and intended to stop and get a cup of coffee, when I had a strong impression that I should call my secretary and ask if she wanted a cup too. When I called, she said, 'I was just standing here thinking, I would love a good cup of coffee right now.'

"Some of us haven't learned to love our bodies enough to properly care for them. To change that, we must confront the three biggest obstacles to healthy living. We don't know how to care for our bodies. Bad diets, misinformation, and fast foods have confused people about what a wholesome diet is and how to eat the right foods in proper amounts. Our view of body image is skewed by media and advertising.
