How cute! NOT. That’s called a fear grimace, people, and it’s not a ‘happy smile.’ It’s an expression apes make when they’re anxious, upset or afraid. The more teeth being exposed, the more upset the ape is, so we can assume this young chimp is extremely uncomfortable.

oh my...that poor little guy's hat. :) My dad used to say he played with a hoop and a stick to roll it with in the late 1920's, this must be what the little boy is holding.
