Secretariat-The Horse of the Century. 1973 Triple Crown Winner, setting record at all 3 tracks. Still to this day holds the records at the Kentucky Derby and Belmont. The 31 length win at Belmont is considered the greatest performance by a race horse in history.

Tears well up every time I hear Chic Anderson yell "He's moving like a tremendous machine!" of Secretariat during the running of the 1973 Belmont Stakes. Fastest mile and 1/2 ever ran 2 min 24 sec flat - won by 31 lengths clinching the Triple Crown. Secretariat ran each quarter faster than the previous, a record that still stands today at Belmont. No horse has ever been able to break the 2 min 25 sec mark. --- Wish I could have seen this <3 love this movie
