Dresser Turned Bench- might take this idea and throw my own spin on it. make it lower to the ground. and ea. kid a window seat in their br. use the drawer to put blankets or as storage... a throw pillow to match the seat and maybe a little bookshelf on the side to hold a few of their favourite stories.
LOVING these refinished bulky frames! How often do you see those gaudy frames at the thrift store and just pass them by? That's what these are, with just a fresh coat of spray paint! After: Cool Seat A fresh coat of orange spray paint and flower embellishments stitched on with yarn gave the chair a new look. Free-form flowers are easy to make with cotton fabric. To make the flowers, cut several sizes of pink blooms and a smaller center shape. Using a darning needle, thread yard from the back of the fabric to the front, making a French knot.
