Neato! So it's THEIR cake, not Martha Stewart's. Use white fondant to cover your cake and give your child food markers to decorate their cake. Imagine doing this every year and seeing (in pictures) how your child develops.
Put a few 20 dollars bills in the album a year and give it to your child as a graduation gift. That way you dont drain your bank account as graduation gets closer, you have already started saving for it since the birth! I LOVE this idea although I'm already a little behind!
Teach your child how to tie shoes in 5 min....seriously cool way to tie shoes!!! (I didn't realise learning children to tie shoes was so stressful! We're nowhere near starting it yet but this sounds helpful when the time comes. Until then, go velcro!)
Make one for each child and then add hanging folders that say "Pre-K through 12th grade" save things that come home during each school year (report cards, drawings, certificates, good grades, etc.) Love this idea
"Stay in bed until you see the sun!" This clock displays a sleepy star during nighttime hours, and a cheerful sun during the day. Parents choose what time the sun appears, so the child knows when it's ok to get out of bed.
To keep the kids happy in the car, a mystery bag to be given to them about each hour. They get a map with each city marked, and they have to follow the route and ask for the bag when we get to that city. Bags are filled with snacks and small toys and games. Fabulous idea!!!
