    I didnt care for it also, I had a hard time finishing it

    I tried to read it but I couldn't finish. I think it's a hard read for Americans because we don't understand the complexities of rural English society. Try The Cookoo's Calling, she wrote it under a pseudonym it's more like Harry Potter in its style.

    Read most of Cuckoo's Calling and it struck me as a somewhat typical crime murder mystery. She's starting to write more at www.pottermore.com.
