Towering Snapdragons - my favorite flower as a child - the name - "snapdragons" says it all! When you take one blossom and squeeze the sides the flower's mouth opens up and then snaps shut when you release. Still love them.

Giant Pink Snapdragon Flower. One year, I bought a flat of colorful mini snapdragons. They looked great. Once a flower bloomed, I snipped off the remaining bud and planted it.

I knew a wonderful old woman named Lela who loved life and gardening. She taught me that pansies are not only beautiful, but flexible and hardy. Lela is gone now but I always think of Lela when I see or plant pansies.

LOVE Snapdragons - have not had any luck with them this year for some reason!!! >(

Snapdragon's are an addiction to keep in bloom since I learned they are cold hardy and will re-bloom after you pinch off the seed head Flowers all year! Woo!

When I was little, snapdragon was one of my favourite flowers - it was growing in the small gardens in the old districts of towns and in villages... It smells so beautiful!... and the colours! :) I'd love to have them in my garden one day... ;)
