Kumquats! I had these for the first time in my almost 60 years last weekend. What a perfect fruit. Wash well, chill and pop in mouth whole...spit out seeds. Or cut in half, remove seeds and maybe use in Sangria...hence my placement in "Drinkie Winkies".
hey Will remember that time mom gave us $60 and sent us into a grocery store for a specific 4 items and we came back 15 minutes later with 1 of those 4 items, a bag of fresh whole kumquats, a quorum of cookies and candy, some dollar store grow animals, and a condolence card containing 6 bucks and a dime?
So beautiful I'm not sure I could eat them... okay, maybe I could.
