Here's the great thing about #CatherineDeneuve: we have the same birthday (no, honestly!); here's the other great thing: She's a lot more beautiful in person, than you will ever imagine. OMG I love you Catherine; forever and ever.
Catherine Deneuve... I always see my big sis in her twenties when I come across this photo. Both Fabulously Beautiful!
Beauty Icon: Catherine Deneuve Deneuve's first big break came in 1964, when she was cast in Jacques Demy's musical Les Parapluies de Cherbourg. She went on to do three more films with Demy and in the process caught the eye of Roman Polanski, who cast her in 1965's Repulsion. Even off-camera, her hair undone and windblown, Catherine, with her proclivity for lots of lashes and white-rimmed lids, was a scene-stealer.
Catherine Deneuve - one of the most beautiful women in the world IMHO.
Catherine Deneuve, it woman now... and so beautiful here.

Catherine Deneuve by Richard Avedon for Vogue, December 1968 . I love love love this photo of Catherine deneuve for vogue because it seems to be taken on a winded day and you can see she is looking at something which is out of shot . I find this photo beautiful because it's simple and the main focus is the point where her eyes lead and her hair moving over her flawless face .

“My portraits are more about me than they are about the people I photograph.” Richard Avedon
Richard Avedon self portrait. Richard Avedon (5/15/1923-10/1/2004) was an American fashion & portrait photographer. Avedon did not conform to the standard technique of taking studio fashion photographs where models stood emotionless & seemingly indifferent to the camera. He showed models full of emotion, smiling, laughing, & in action in outdoor settings. Avedon died in San Antonio, Texas, of complications from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was on an assignment for The New Yorker.
Richard Avedon (1923 – 2004) was an American photographer. An obituary published in The New York Times said that "his fashion and portrait photographs helped define America's image of style, beauty and culture for the last half-century." Avedon was always interested in how portraiture captures the personality and soul of its subject. As his reputation as a photographer became widely known, he brought in many famous faces to his studio and photographed them with a large-format 8x10 view camera.

"Richard Avedon (New York 1923 - San Antonio 2004)" American photographer, best known for his work in the fashion world and for his minimalist portraits. Avedon started as a photographer taking identification pictures for the Merchant Marines, in 1946 had set up his own studio and began providing images for magazines including Vogue and Life. He soon became the chief photographer for Harper's Bazaar, demanding emotion and movement, a departure from the norm of motionless fashion photography.

Bob Dylan, musician, New York, 1965, edition, Richard Avedon. This photo seems to be about the life of a celebrity when they're not being a celebrity. Bob Dylan isn't surrounded by a crowd of people wanting his autograph, he isn't wearing anything special, and he isn't doing anything out of the ordinary. Instead, he looks like any other man that could be walking on the street. To me, this photo normalizes the life of a celebrity, making it easier for a viewer to feel connected to the celebrity.

Catherine Deneuve, 1960s - Her hair, I can do my fake ponytalle, would go great with a collar shirt or such, cover the chin a bit, bring visual attraction of photo range up to the eyes & poof hair, where it should be. Hot, no accent on the neck, neat idea since mine isn't perfect.
Catherine Deneuve, 1960s - I like her here...later in the years she became too 'ladylike'...
