Pickled Asparagus -- looks great, we'll see how it tastes. I used the basic brine recipe and 1/2 tsp. Penzey's dried garlic, 1 tbsp. pickling spice and a dash of red pepper flakes in each jar. Scant 1/4 tsp. pickle crisp per pint and a half jar. 11/13: This was really good, especially in a bloody mary. :-)
