    Buy a cheap clock, hot glue fabric rosettes around it... Don't love the flowers, but it's a great tip to use whatever one likes!

    Flour paste batik - great tutorial! mix 3/4 to 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup water, and 2 tbsp. Alum (found in spice aisle I used McCormicks) will have consistency of pancake batter.. fill a fine tip squeeze bottle or frosting/pastry bag.... i used a cleaned out old elmers glue bottle.
