summer corn chowder -- instead of two cups of half/half, used one cup fresh cream and one cup milk, also couldn't find chicken broth so 2 cups water plus 1 bullion cube. delicious hot; equally delicious as a chilled soup the next morning!!!
Beaucoup Seafood Chowder. A classic seafood chowder from Nova Scotia. For this recipe, I almost always use at least a pound of Haddock, a small package of frozen small-sized Scallops and a can of frozen Lobster knuckles and claws. I think the sweet Scallops and Lobster really make this chowder.
